The Pike Quartet is a lively string ensemble composed of two violins, one viola, and one cello. With roots in Tacoma and Seattle, we service the entire Puget Sound region. Our repertoire, spanning through the classical and popular eras, allows us to provide the most appropriate music for any special occasion. We are veteran performers of weddings, receptions, corporate events, and house parties, and are happy to provide an elegant and intimate musical experience to make your occasion memorable.
Our History
Established in 2002, the Pike Quartet began in the heart of downtown Seattle at the picturesque Pike Place Market. The four of us originally met through the Tacoma Youth Symphony Association, and began a string quartet our senior year of high school for our own enjoyment and as a way to defray upcoming college costs. Presently we are university students all across the country, but continue to play at Pike Place Market and events in the Seattle area throughout the year. We enjoy our gracious market audiences and invite all to come hear us perform.
